I did a long bike ride yesterday east of Sherwood Park and saw a number of rural properties with "Independent Alberta" signs.
Based on the shiteholes these people live in, I'm guessing the first cost-saving if they get independence will be to cut garbage collection. Just chuck it in the yard!
