I'm still surprised Harrison Ford hasn't gotten one yet, but Floyd Norman is an excellent choice for an Honorary Oscar as are this year's other honourees. variety.com/2026/film/aw...

Steven Spielberg is one of the best. I think the majority of his movies range from great to excellent. "Disclosure Day" is the first Spielberg film I've seen where I kept wondering how someone else would have directed it. I wish he'd given it to Brad Bird.

My review of Steven Spielberg's "Disclosure Day", which despite a great Emily Blunt performance and a few solid action scenes, becomes an underwhelming ride that struggles to juggle the characters and themes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzXV...

Of course, I had an "oh, interesting" reaction to the Alcon Entertainment logo appearing. First I'm learning they're involved in this. Aaron Sorkin seems to be giving this a different tone and feel than The Social Network, which I think is smart. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM4L...

Welp. Maine Democrats have decided to go with a candidate who wore a Nazi tattoo for nearly half his life, was abusive towards woman, used derogatory slurs, amongst other things. Unless another Democrat runs a write-in campaign for the general, Susan Collins just got reelected.

We went from "dangerous and sometimes extremely crude stunts" to "extremely crude and dangerous stunts", to just "dangerous stunts" and back to "extremely dangerous stunts".

No, Graham Platner is not worth compromising Democratic values. Voting for him means turning your back on all the SA survivors. It means turning your back on so many communities that make up the party's coalition. And oh yeah, it means that Nazi tattoos are somehow fine with you.
