Given the quality of T. Kingfisher's other work that I've enjoyed, I'm 100% sure that this horror novel is amazing.
I'm also 100% sure that:
1. It is not for me (pure horror on this scale is way too much for me)
2. I should not (and will not) look up _any_ screwworm pictures

A: Sigh. No, I’m a horror author. I wrote a horror novel about it. It’s set in 1899 when screwworms were a big deal. I did a lot of research.
I did not expect it to become relevant.
