Oh others could achieve what he desires, he simply has… specific tastes, and those specific tastes happen to require perfection. He requires perfection in every aspect of his existence, demands it of everyone. Himself included. She’s more than welcome to make an attempt, she’s the one resisting.

If she had been the one making the proposal first, absolutely. However, in this case, it was her response to his demeanor. If the perfect coffee suited to his tastes can only be achieved by him and no one else, then anyone else would easily fall below par. King of the world, as one would say.

Yes, he could. That’s only logical; firstly he knows exactly how he takes and enjoys his coffee, secondly he achieves perfection in everything he does and anything less is unacceptable. If her first thought is to assume he so desires coffee of her specific making, is that not also arrogance?

A waste of his time he says as he has no issues berating her for a simple rejection. How 𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘵. If he thinks that'll convince her to make said coffee, it won't have her budge a bit. In fact, if he's so doubtful, he himself could make said perfectly brewed. Since he's so capable and all.

He’s not going to dignify that first point with a response, it’s a waste of his time. As for being capable? Or course he’s capable. That was never in question, unlike her worth. See; his earlier remark- 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. As for ‘perfectly brewed’? Doubtful.

Rather than trying to find use in others, how about he finds use in himself first. Don't blame her for his lack of perfectly brewed coffee with that attitude. Last she checked, he's capable of grabbing that himself.

Then what use is she? Other people are such disappointments, or they would be if he cared enough to be disappointed in them.

Hah, no.

Rather thinks someone should get him a coffee, and then thank him for the honour.
