Jane Yolen was a wonderful human being and it was a privilege to get to know Jane on her trips to Scotland, and her readings at our Events.
She enthralled us all with her warmth and her poems.
I just heard that my pal Jane Yolen died yesterday. I met Jane over 10 years ago through @shoreinf.bsky.social , welcoming her to the stage in Edinburgh and editing her sci-fi poetry pamphlet ("The Last Robot and Other Science Fiction Poems"), as well as many other poems in SoI.
