i think minimalism as a mindset can be useful especially if you have hoarding tendencies, but when it becomes someone's whole aesthetic i'm jsut like ok . that's cool for you but why do you have to act like everyone else has clutter from "overconsumption" and not just like. living life + collecting?
im being grumpy but im really like . every video you and the Minimalist girlies make is actually extremely classist and pretentious lol
just because YOU see a mess doesn't mean other ppl don't see like, idk a comfortable wonderland? i LOVE maximalist setups because what i see in clutter is a life being lived.

i think beige aesthetic minimalists do not realize how wealthy you have to be to maintain that aesthetic. there's a reason cozy maximalism is popular with poor ppl, we value the stuff we have because we're not used to being able to replace it with stylish white furniture lol
