THE CHILDREN was released OTD in 1980, and while it was derided at the time for being cheap and ludicrous (black fingernails?), I've a deep fondness for its twistedness. Toxified children burn their own parents to death with their touch; to survive, parents hack apart their kids, and laughs are few.
