Was very stimulating to attend the "Mathematical statistics" colloquium @uni-hamburg.de today with Ivo Sbalzarini from @mosaicgroup.bsky.social on Data-Driven Inference of Self-Organization and Shape in Living Systems. I learned that the developing embryo behaves like an active liquid crystal! 🧪
