I picked up Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House at the library this afternoon.
Annual reminder: you probably want a way to deal with particulates from wildfires. Even if you're not experiencing wildfires at the moment, having the stuff on hand to deal with them is a lot better than trying to figure something out when supplies are low and demand is high.

My clearest signal that I am not an extrovert is that every TV or film depiction of a party or a club looks exhausting and not remotely fun.

I *do* enjoy laughing at him, though. Mostly because he thinks he's showing off and is faceplanting badly.
If you're going to go for vibes and appearance over substance, it behooves you to at least put in enough work to sell the appearance.
