This is farfarfar down the list of reasons Twitter is terrible, but it's truly ruined fandom. Whenever I pop my head in to lurk on folks talking hoops, it's nothing but engagement-bait whining about flops & fouls & refs—virtually nothing about the game itself. Such a toxic way to experience sports.
