I will always be way more excited for other people's papers than my own. I take it that a PhD supervisor's job is basically 80% hype man.
Nothing unites philosophers like our shared hatred of The Philosophy Documentation Center.
One of my PhD students just got her first paper accepted!
Why does it exist? Has anyone ever successfully read a paper from there? Do people really pay $15 for a single article? I have so many questions.
