I do understand that people like this rarely or never notice that power is routinely abused in this country for political purposes. But I am saying: for as long as those people refuse to acknowledge that, then their opinion on this stuff has no value.
It is IMO a dick move to continue insisting that online anonymity be removed in an era where it’s been very clear since the late 2010s that malicious actors in politics and media routinely target members of the public for exemplary punishment bearings, trying to get them sacked from their jobs.
