Quantum Leap approach. No main lead for The Doctor. Companion is the lead. Doctor changes actor every other ep.
And a goal. Not a Big Bad, but a "Sam is just trying to get home" approach. Something explanable, almost attainable, but nebulous.
Did a six-month check in on TRANSFORMERS since I bailed on the comic.
