I know its not true for everyone, but for me romance and love and finding the person who makes life worth it is so uniquely human than I've never written anything without a romantic subplot. Its just what makes me happy.
Things have been hectic at the office and therefore I havent had near as much time for anything other than couch slugging but I am still here and still working! My beta readers are making progress and I hope I can start last batch of revisions soon.
I love WIPSnips! I havent been doing it lately as ive transitioned from WIP to hopefully finished product but its a great community and I love to see what everyone's working on.
