When you don't live in an area with something like the Netea you would never think to use it. My first trip to Chicago I took a $76 cab ride to what I was later told was a 10 minute metra ride.

Sobering. But if these folks didn't absolutely need to drive to the Art Institute and, say, parking at a suburban Metra station would have been a viable alternative, unnecessarily driving to the center of a congested big city can be its own punishment.
