My partner and I got to make a Southern Californian pilgrimage to see the Hockney exhibition in Paris last summer. We just finished painting our new house colors inspired by “A Bigger Splash,” which we’ve had a print of in our living room for years. RIP David Hockney.
I’m hoping Simonetta Falasca-Zamponi (a grad school advisor of mine) will see fit to write a follow up to The Fascist Spectacle for the unhinged aesthetics of modern fascism.
