This made me laugh, also I do love IX quite a bit so I'll take it.
A great case study for what I've been telling folks for ages:
1. If you use GenAI, it's gonna be bad, you will piss off a big chunk of your audience.
2. If you Lie or Deceive via omission your audience by not disclosing, you will piss off your entire audience.
The juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Eldritch was basically "what if Spelunky and Dishonored had a baby, and Lovecraft was the cool unc" and Eldritch 2 is basically "what if Eldritch and Dark Souls had a baby, and Lovecraft was in the cuck chair." I will not elaborate on this.
Relevant: we make free narrative tools for multiple engines, and we don't use any genAI whatsoever--not for coding, not for writing, not for anything.
