My motion to get the renovictions bylaw released for debate goes to council tomorrow. Thank you to all of the tenants who came to committee to tell your stories of being unfairly evicted. I am fighting for you.

City staff should not have the right to withhold the renoviction bylaw from Council or the public. This issue deserves transparency and democratic debate. My motion to get the bylaw back on the table passed Planning and Housing Committee by 9-3. It goes to council next week.
