What I use right now is www.startpage.com. Like DDG, it's a privacy layer on top of someone else's search, but it's based on Google, not Bing. And it strips out most (not all) of the nonsense Google is doing now.
I worry it might go downhill if Google does, but for now, much cleaner results.
