Coming out of submitting a grant (part 2 - Bloom School) 🧠🧠In May, I attended the Science Festival, Bloom School, and presented a talk to teenagers: Why you can't tickle yourself! I kept the crowd busy asking them to tickle one another and they kept me busy with all their enthusiastic questions
Our group has been looking at beta bursts for the last 5 years, but we do it a little differently than most - we group into types them based on their waveforms. In this open access article we lay out why and what we think this might mean journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/... #neuroskyence

Coming out of submitting a grant (part 1 - MEG Nord) Line and I enjoyed visiting Laura at Karolinska Institutet where she has collected two OP-MEG datasets focusing on cerebellum, expectations and respiration. Preliminary analyses show nice localisation of cerebellar activity using OP-MEG 🧠📈
Coming out of submitting a grant (part 3 - Young Academy Party) Also time for some partying (in Niels Bohr's old house) with the Young Academy of Denmark. Here together with our distinguished speaker Michael Ejstrup and old and new members. 📈

sometimes I am asked which is the best book/resource for starting out with EEG/MEG. I think my pick would be this one! 'MEG-EEG primer' academic.oup.com/book/46874 beautiful illustrations throughout & the side-by-side discussion of EEG & MEG makes a lot of sense.
