A busy severe weather pattern will persist for the remainder of this week and into the weekend. Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes will all be possible during this period. For the latest outlooks check spc.noaa.gov and check weather.gov for any active warnings.

An early season heatwave can often be more dangerous and pose a greater risk for heat-related illness. This will be the most significant heat so far this summer for many locations. Visit weather.gov for the latest forecast.
A widespread heat wave will build across he central U.S. through midweek before shifting to the East Coast, where it peaks on Friday, then slowly ease over the weekend.
Early summer heat is expected to impact much of the U.S. this week. Be sure to limit your time outdoors, take breaks often, hydrate, etc. For more heat safety tips visit weather.gov/heat.
Severe tstorms capable of large to giant hail & a couple of tornadoes are possible over the plains of eastern Colorado. Numerous severe tstorms are possible over northern Kansas through the late evening. Severe gusts ranging from 60-100 mph are possible along with a risk for tornadoes.
Hot, dry and windy conditions will continue to bring a critical fire weather threat from the Southwest into the Great Basin. Red flag warnings are active for several dozen counties, check weather.gov for the latest.
