Crossing guard we used to have 3 yrs ago at Montello & Neal left, no one was hired to fill the vacancy. Community begged every possible person in the executive, location was demoted from “necessary” to “supplemental,” and as a final indignity, budget for vacant post has been zeroed for next year. 🤬
