I feel like I've heard a lot less people comparing the US to The Handmaid's Tale over the last couple years and I can only see that as a marker of progress.
Currently watching After Hours which is almost like grunge NY era Lynch. But also thinking of King of Comedy, the opening of Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, and so on.
