B3 "Point Hope" is all new, lovely and lush. Praying this uploader can find A1 and A2, what a crazy fucking year to be a BOC fan.
Whatever they used to remove the drums from the opening did a really clean job for the first 30 seconds, but the simple kick drum from ATP07 gently seeps back in during the choir pads, and then a couple reverse drums can be heard very quietly. That moment in ATP07 is 4:58, when the beat comes back.
Babe wake up, the back-half of Boards of Canada's pre-label 1994 EP "Hooper Bay" popped up on Archive as a set of 32kbps 22.5kHz "MPEG-2" MP3s allegedly downloaded from a P2P service sometime around 2002, and they might actually be fucking real.

NOOO finally figured it out. Optimism got the better of me, and audio extraction has improved more than I knew. The whole opening of B2 is taken from the soundboard recording of ATP07. The killing blow is these reverse drum sounds at 0:59, and the faint bass hits that follow in the spectrogram.
This is one of those things where you have to think, there's no way, it's gotta be fake.
Pull up the only known 30-second sample of "Circle", then listen to how B1 continues. Pull up the soundboard version of ATP07, then compare with B2 - the structure is different but all the elements are there.
