No, the assumption that disabled people require our colleaguesโ stolen words and illustrations chopped up and spewed out in order to participate in art is ableist.
We have BEEN creating art. Many of the works you love? Made by someone marginalized out of traditional jobs.

Of course, disability does make things unaccessible. I can't do art at all without my meds. (I have difficulty chewing even, so holding a brush in my mouth would be impossible as well)
But I don't think that's a good reason to steal other people's work nor to destroy the planet in the way AI does.
If I had lived in another country, I would probably be bedridden and extremely underweight.
That's privilege even in disability.
HOWEVER. Some things can't be excused no matter what your reasons are.
for the rest of July/August, I will focus on uploading new products and making new merch, and do a bit of housekeeping on my various websites.
Sketch comms will remain open as they're less demanding.
I also plan to open new comm types in September.

Using AI for art is like telling a robot to run when you're unable to. Where's the point? I don't see any. You're not the one running and enjoying it. (aaaand disabled runners exist despite that. cause people got creative.)
