Fishing-activity related wildlife deaths estimated as 1k harbour porpoises & common dolphins annually, 10k seabirds and 500 seals, six humpback whales and 30 minke whales. Over 1k endangered Atlantic salmon + 120 tonnes of protected sharks, skates and rays are also caught and killed as bycatch.
