Finding aircraft carriers in satellite imagery, a quick tutorial :-)

USS Nimitz off the coast of Florida, heading north to Norfolk
Used binary thresholding in the VV channel to make a mask and separate the ship from the background in the VH channel (which typically has all the detail). Think it turned out well.
