My one FFXIV lore question is why are there so little mixed race characters? I know there’s one potential half garlean guy. But like. Especially since all the hominids like to cohabitate as much as possible. We know half elves are treated very badly in Ishgard but what about everybody else o_O

imp lore headcannon . virgin queens look like regular workers at first but after pairing with a drone they start to grow taller and wider over time. Worker imps have a stinger hidden in their tail and they will straight up explode and die if they sting someone. And that’s what implosion is.
