“Well I know that. It’s the fact that we tend to act like it at times.”
A small shrug as she continued to stare up into Melody’s face.
“I can’t blame you there. There’s something very pleasant about a cute relationship.”

“ but we aren’t lovers. ”
a soft smirk crossed her lips.
“ i am. the idea of it is rather nice. ”

“Funny how you say that while you’re combing your fingers through my hair like lovers do. Are you a big fan of those kinds of books though?”

“ it’s nothing too exciting. cheesy romance novel. even if i don’t believe in that kind of thing. ”

A soft grumble, staring up at Melody with a small grin.
“It’s just difficult to have the motivation to get through at times. Tell me about your book.”

“ those are the more exciting ones. ”
a hand slowly moved, brushing through blonde locks.

She draped herself across Melody’s lap, humming. She was a bit needy for some attention after reading so much.
“I hope so. I’ve heard great things about it, but it just hit a snails pace.”

“ perhaps it speeds up soon. could be missing out. ”

“It’s very interesting but the pacing has slowed to a crawl. I’m debating on if I want to finish it or not.”
A shrug as she closed her book before moving to sit beside Melody.

“ not bad. haven’t gotten to the good part yet. and yours? ”
those icy blue hues glanced up.

Willa looked over towards the other, gesturing towards the book in her grasp.

melody nodded a bit, returning her eyes to her book.

She offered a smile at the confusion.
