Croatian post: Postman arrives at my place at 8:30 AM. I'm signing for the packet, and they're charging me customs for comp comics a publisher sent me that I didn't even work on, and while signing, I'm close to the postman, and he reeks of alcohol (spirits, not beer). So early in the day. Christ.
But the promo does a good job of showing the beauty in Croatia. Just don't expect it to be all serene and quiet like it looks in the promo.
Of course, the promo paints an unrealistic ideal of what your experience in Croatia would be. They make it look all quiet and isolated, walking Dubrovnik's walls totally alone. No way in hell. You'd be crowded by the hordes disembarking from a cruise ship in Dubrovnik.

Saturday. Bleeding Hearts 6 is a wrap. Started Midnight X-Men 1. Now, sneaking in a Superman cover before heading to a homebrew festival in Zagreb to help judge Best of Show, then pour my Dark Mild and Amber Ale and imbibe everyone's tasty concoctions. And try to stay in shape to work tomorrow.
