As we near the 200th anniversary of the Black press, some lessons from history are so clear. Perhaps one surefire way to fight misinformation would be setting up a digital nonprofit to support today's Black press websites with NYT levels of IT, design, socials, etc. It'd be $50 million well spent!
Segregation. It's just plain old segregation. We are all going to have to get a lot more comfortable describing this country using the word segregation.
I had an idea for *years* to do a home makeover show but for digital projects. Start with an awkward interview, light banter, and foolish notions, then we bring in the project managers, data curators, ux designers, and technical writers. Then poof! All done in 25 minutes.
