I'm deeply uninterested in any question about why authors are making less money that doesn't start by asking, "so how much money are publishers making?"
they're charging libraries through the nose for those ebooks, after all. if anyone was worried about authors we'd get 50% net minimum on that
I feel like I’ve been in comics for a very long time (over a decade at this point) even tho it feels like less than that… I feel so much joy every time I see a friend or a industry peer get recognized for the work that they do and finally given their flowers and praise for their craft !!!
