Add to this being allowed to a build a stack of wood pallets so high it was deemed a risk to a hotel (!), and one set alight even though there were concerns about asbestos on the site and there was a substation supplying two (two!) hospitals nearby... www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

@citizense.bsky.social SEE??!?! Someone else went there!
Sign me up for the campaign to create a "Bluesky Alt Text of the Week" award. There are more characters than the main post and (especially with @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social) it's an opportunity to add vastly more context, humour, and soul than "heres wot I pointed my phone at innit good"
As per the Alt Text, I'd love to think my final walk could look something like this, especially if it was wide enough to be able hold hands with the people I love the most. (They could drop me off and wave goodbye and get on with living some more, if that's an allowable loophole).
Thank you to all 670 of you who registered for our webinars! Information emails have gone out to everyone. Please check your spam/junk folders, although a number of the email addresses provided have come back as undeliverable: we'll look at them individually and try and solve the issue if possible.
Our first webinar was very successful, with 100 participants, great questions, and lots of enthusiasm! Thanks to everyone who made it, there's another one later at 5pm UK time. If you'd like a joining link, please email the FORESIGHTERS project (address on our website)
Second (and final) webinar of the day is finished, with 115 attendees this time. Thanks to everyone who took part - we'll share a recording and the slides as soon as possible.
