I curious about how people think about assumptions for your main model. Do you use them as: A. Is my data "good enough" for this model (e.g. small sample issues) B. Is my theory correct on what the DGP should be (e.g. maybe binomial - subgroups exist) C. Ritualistic / no specific reason.
