A side effect for me of doing Spironolactone is one of its main uses: helping to control blood pressure. This makes it doubly beneficial. I hope I can up my dosage in August after my next blood work.

I started reading the original prose “Queen of the Black Coast” last night but fell asleep after the first couple of pages. I was tired! And I’ve read it so many times before, plus all the comics adaptations. This has Mark Schultz’s visual interpretations of the character and he does right by her.
I can’t help but feel in my delusional optimism we could have an electoral choice that’s maybe not perfect but still better than “not as bad.”

104/78, heart rate 64bpm. I hit hypertension yesterday but I’d barely slept and my nervous system was all glitchy from excitement about my job interview and amusement park plans.
My favorite is Becky Cloonan’s version. I don’t think that’s available in print currently but once they get past the actual Howard stuff the new material is terrible. Plodding depressing and makes them seem like an unhappy hipster couple. Only Cloonan’s art salvages any of it.
