A democracy ceases to be a democracy if it can't change its mind. We have the right to re-elect all our MPs every 5 years for that very reason.

That must be the first time the BBC have told something approaching the truth, since the referendum.
But it does show a sympathetic view on pensioners. Sure, some are well off, with an occupational pension as well as the state pension. BUT, our state pension is half the value of the pension in most other European countries. A lot of UK pensioners, who don't have an occupational pension, struggle.
Heseltine is spot on here.
Just occurred to me that Streeting has been quiet since he resigned his ministerial position and went to the back benches. Wonder how his support is going for a leadership challenge ?
