We have the right to re-elect all our MPs every 5 years for that very reason.

But it does show a sympathetic view on pensioners.
Sure, some are well off, with an occupational pension as well as the state pension.
BUT, our state pension is half the value of the pension in most other European countries.
A lot of UK pensioners, who don't have an occupational pension, struggle.
