My university assigned me a mandatory training on (the risks and harms of) AI on the last day of duty, due July 1, after our chancellor and board of regents used AI to cull through all our syllabi and course material to decide what to censor. I can’t make this shit up.
Minimum. That’s just the count from the (hundreds) of faculty who did the survey, not the thousands we have on campus. Total impact is likely much higher.
