Her eyelids felt like heavy steel ingots fighting against her will to remain conscious. She couldn't see in the first place, but she knew if she closed her eyes, she wouldn't keep fighting and give into whatever came next.

It didn't take long but it felt like an eternity.
He was already fast, enhancing his speed with his Guardian Force, but with Haste he was almost as fast a car in short bursts.
And the clock was ticking.

At the very least the regen sustained what little light she yet held onto. Fingers dug into Seifer's chest as her body tensed and softly shook. The look on her face was complete agony, but she couldn't utter a single wordβa sound.

Darkness steals her vision.
Silence drowns her words.
Her body slowed to a snails pace.
Confusion renders her disorientated.
And marlboro poison slowly chipped away at her life.

Hurt, weakened, and desperate, tentacles slither from all directions attempting to knock back the duo with a powerful thrust. Tifa jumps, ducks, and slides away from every attempt until her feet were suddenly off the ground and the world was upside down.
