Day 10 of #FantasyIndiesJune
Would my characters stop and ask for directions? In my Oracle of Delphi series WIP, both the Pythiai and the Senior Priests of Apollo would definitely ask for directions.

So I finally got around to reading "Between Two Rivers" and ... whoo boy am I disappointed. No maps, illustrations, or photos. It seems tailored to high schoolers, to get them engaged with the subject matter (ancient Mesopotamia). I'm 25% in and haven't learned anything new.
May not finish.
THIS
Update: I did not finish. Way too repetitive: even within a couple of pages, saying the same thing over and over. If the entire book is like that, it could've been 1/4 the size. Just another trad pubbed book that needed a better team.
Day 9 of #FantasyIndiesJune
My WIP tagline? For the Oracle of Delphi series WIP? 8 books? I have absolutely no idea. 🤣

Day 8 of #FantasyIndiesJune
What inspires me? EVERYTHING. Life. Books. Movies. Ads. Random overheard conversations. Dreams. Nightmares. News stories.
It'd be easier to ask what doesn't inspire me. 🤣

Day 5 of #FantasyIndiesJune
This week I added 3800 words to Book 8 of my Oracle of Delphi series WIP. Book 8 is now at 33K, and the entire series manuscript is at 766,830 words.
This week I finished reading 3 books, 2 of which were indie.
Happy Friday! 🎉

Day 4 of #FantasyIndiesJune
Here in AZ, I only like the outdoors in Spring and Fall. I stay inside during Winter (too cold) and Summer (too hot). LOL
In my Oracle of Delphi series WIP, the Pythiai love sitting in the courtyard of the House of the Pythia - outside but private.
