Science is fundamental to democracy, hence it’s attacked. Rough times for virology & virologists, but there are silver linings even on dark days. Like talking virology w/@microbetv.bsky.social, the virologist who trained me. 20+ yrs on, it reminds me why I love virology & why it’s worth fighting for
