I feel incredibly lucky to live close to this 🍃
Excited to announce THREE new publications in the last couple weeks.
Very special day today - we just finished data collection in the LEAF study - 3 years and 2 months of testing babies and toddlers, more than 1600 longitudinal test sessions. I am so happy we got to this point!
I’m in Uppsala, Sweden, and we’re off to a good start 😋
New paper alert! In this new mini-review, we discuss recent research on the neural substrates of executive function development in children under three. Enjoy! www.frontiersin.org/journals/dev...
Saw this April Fools’ Day meme, but honestly, I want one of these!
We will be looking for a postdoc to take the lead on data collection and coordination between sites (University of Bristol, Cardiff University and Radboud UMC). Likely start date: Early autumn.
Full job advert to follow, but feel free to get in touch (via email) if this job sounds exciting and fits your skill set. Feel free to share to your networks as well, especially if you work in the field of developmental cognitive neuroscience. Thank you!
In BLOCCS we will follow 300 children longitudinally between 6 months and 5 years to establish the building blocks of cognition and their neural foundations. Excitingly, the children in the cohort will be children of the Children of the 90s (ALSPAC), expanding an already multi-generational study.
We (Karla Holmboe, Mara Cercignani and @rogierk.bsky.social) will soon be advertising for a postdoc on BLOCCS (Bristol Longitudinal study Of Childhood Cognition from infancy to School), funded by the Wellcome Trust.
