Made me think about our dependance on technology and the impact on our lives when things go wrong. Even on a small scale it has been quite hard. Imagine if the entire infrastructure was damaged and we couldn't do anything...
In the past week my phone had an extended holiday in Ely and a trip in the post. I had an issue with Openreach sending an engineer who struggled to find the property and was ultimately unable to complete the job because nobody thought to maybe have a look beforehand and think about how to do it.
Finalised my dad's estate today and used some of my share to get him a seat at the bar.
