Today I ran the first session of a Classic Traveller x Classic Battletech campaign! It went amazingly.
The BT contract affected how scouting and social situations during the expedition, and reaction/patron/rumor rolls from CT very much modified how the job was obtained and approached.

I actually did do something similar to this (inspired initially by @scribblemhorror.bsky.social's Mapping Game, which took inspiration from Verdun!)
It was for a stand-alone dungeon crawler game that I was working on called ODD DELVES - I should return to that someday, haha.
Also, the player wanted to use a specific mech I didn't have, so I kitbashed/sculpted it as per his specifications :)
