Kisdon Force, near Keld in Upper Swaledale, part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Situated on both the Pennine Way and Coast to Coast long distance paths, I was very lucky to have it all to myself on this visit.

Keel Crossing, the new pedestrian/cycle crossing spanning the River Wear in Sunderland, NE England. Part of the £500,000,000 Riverside Sunderland regeneration scheme, it has a span of 260 metres (850 ft) and stands 30 metres (98 ft) above the river.

The last trains crossed in 1991, the line finally closed in 2012.
