combat is boring if you run it boring but also if your players are boring. of course all standing in a line swinging and missing is boring! have some terrain. make something change every round. tackles, disarms, enemy spells, blinding powders. if you start doing dirty tricks, so will the players
I'm rewatching Batman: The Animated Series and I'd just like to ask what current cartoons are carrying the same torch as this '90s cartoon? The cinematography and lighting is better than most live-action films on Netflix and everything so far is just FLEXING. Go watch the Clayface two-parter.
