Obsession is basically everything I want in a horror movie. It was perfectly scary. The pacing was fine-tuned to keep me from ever getting too overwhelmed. It would calm me down in one moment and bring in a bit of levity, just to make the next moment even more upsetting. Super good!
Just got my beautiful copy of The Scholar’s Codex from @tuneandfairweather.bsky.social. Congrats to the contributors and editing team for pulling this off! From what I’ve read so far, it’s very compelling. I love seeing academic works meld with and celebrate fan culture like this.
