Is it any wonder our society feels like it’s being ripped apart? People are literally calling for violence on the street and nothing is done. Others march against actual genocide and get the full force of the law thrown at them! It feels like the far right have become untouchable.
If something is too big to be dealt with properly (eg the banks in 2008, the water companies, X, etc etc etc) maybe we should do something before they get too big?
Too often governments/regulators turn a blind eye until it’s too late. It’s endlessly frustrating and a big part of our problems.
I have to say, listening to the Today programme dedicate an entire (context free) section about whether migrants are more likely to be convicted criminals *the morning after* hundreds of non-migrants of my own ethnicity committed a pogrom is blood boiling.
