This is so sad... I was looking forward to treating myself to this game, but I won't be getting it now.
So, hey, @spryfox.bsky.social's title, Spirit Crossing, sadly does in fact use GenAI.
Dev's have confirmed as much in their Discord.
There is a Claude file in the game files for the playtest that started a conversation about it, and sadly, that will be the end of it for me.
I'm heartbroken...
