Vance puts the artist in bullshit/con artist (derogatory, obviously). For Trump, lying is violence. For Vance, it is craft. Both are, in fact, equally dangerous.

If Trump is the perfect encapsulation of our basest and worst instincts; Vance is the apotheosis of the idea that politicians are liars who will say whatever they need to advance their own power.
