Just realized I never shared the fully painted gums/lower lip for the corso, and now that the fur's on you can hardly see it
Exhibit A for why paint is so important even when the design/inspiration is a single color:

I can't find any rhyme or reason to whether or not bluesky lets me upload photos right now. I'll try again tomorrow to see if it's fixed itself.
The block-in vs the final install! The lips still need to be painted to blend more smoothly into the gums.

(Yes I do use clippers for the first pass and the broad areas, but the tiny scissors are needed to get down into the wrinkles and tight spots)

Akyon the maned wolf has headed home to @akyon.dog! He'll have paws and a tail coming soon as well. He's built on my sighthound base, and I loved having the opportunity to try using it cross-species! It worked out very nicely with minor modifications.
A commission in progress - a maned wolf, built on my sighthound base. Thicker fur will bulk up the face, and sculpted eyelids make the eyes look smaller and more angled, to avoid the greyhound "boba" look. Those foam strips were just for visual blocking, and aren't used in the final mask.
